Knowledge of current theories and structures for providing public library services to children and young adults, the role of the type of library service in the community, and techniques of its administration required. LIS 772: Library Services to Children and Young Adults Work experience in archives and with digital materials required. Knowledge of the history, purpose and theory of the archival field required. LIS 734: Introduction to Archives and Records Management Knowledge of associated literature and experience with service needs assessment, goal and objective setting, staffing, budgeting and evaluation required. Knowledge of information architecture, usability and usability testing, navigation of information spaces, and project planning and management demonstrated ability to apply concepts of organization of information and user study to web design.
